Buckwheat "Zhitnitsa" treated with steam
May contain traces of cereals containing gluten. Store dry. Preparation:
Boil buckwheat and cold water in a 1:2 ratio in a bubbling saucepan.
Add about 1 teaspoon of salt per liter of water.
Cook at reduced heat for about 10 minutes.
Switch off the hotplate and let it swell for a few more minutes depending on the desired consistency.
